During home inspections, the engineer failed our septic system. When the engineer gave us a business card and offered to design the new system, Warren immediately suggested we get a second opinion. A week later, we dug test holes in the presence of the buyers, and we all saw that the field was not flooded, and the system was functioning. “It was obvious getting us the best deal was his priority.”
This was to be our first new home and I never imagined how stressful and emotional the process could be. We saw well over 75 houses –some as drive bys and some we actually went into and investigated. Warren spent a lot of time educating and guiding us on all the important issues-location, neighborhood, mechanical systems and physical structure of the home. He gave us a professional perspective on the do's , the don'ts, and what if’s.
When we finally found our home, Warren was a huge help and gave us honest input when it came to negotiating the price, home inspection repairs, and credits to request. It was obvious getting us the best deal was his priority.
When the hard stuff was over we could finally rest easy...............WRONG! A few days before the closing Warren followed up with the town on the required repairs. He discovered the seller of the house didn't completely make the septic repairs they had contractually agreed to. We held the sellers accountable and everything was repaired to our satisfaction prior to closing. It was Warren’s attention to detail and genuine concern that saved us a lot of money and headaches. Warren and Julie were tireless and patient and it paid off for us in the end. All we can say is thanks again!!!!
As an additional endorsement, I can say that a close friend of mine was in the market to buy a house. We referred him to Warren and Julie because of our positive experience. Thinking that all Realtors are alike, he ended up using somebody else... (You can lead a horse to water but can't make them drink!) My friend asked me to come along on his home inspection and check out his purchase. As I had just gone through the whole process myself, I went along to lend a hand , and opinion, if needed. The Realtor he selected had no working knowledge of the basics (plumbing, electric, septic systems, etc). I was shocked at how utterly useless this person proved to be. It was the knowledge I gained from my experience with Warren that ultimately helped my friend.
